The Left Rose and Right Rose are a pair of kalimbas built with Justin Cooper that repurposed some earlier instruments to create a balanced pair of instruments for different occasions. With this set, one of the instruments is usually tuned to a familiar scale, while the other is tuned to something more experimental. This allows for me to explore similar gestures to get differing results based on the application.
